It’s actually been a while since I’ve last updated. It’s not that I haven’t been trying. I’ve made several half-assed attempts but nothing congealed into an entry I felt I wanted to share with you. So I am at the cusp of a bind. You see, I hate my job right now and am desperate to leave. I don’t talk about my job dissatisfaction much but suffice to say that stupid Acting E.D. + stupider board makes for a very unhappy verucaamish. So I applied for a few jobs and two actually contacted me back. First is Surething doing essentially what I’m doing now with a colleague organization. Luckily, I know the people who work there and they’re cool so it’s not like I’d take that job and be miserable. The second job, Dreamjob, would be working for an organization that kicks major booty but unfortunately their hiring process is slow as molasses. I sent them my materials in February and they got back to me two weeks ago. Also, I know that the job doesn’t start until July. Surething needs someone right away. You see my dilemma. Should I go for Surething and get the hell out or hold out for Dreamjob and burn bridges with Surething? Of course this could all be moot if either one of them decide I’m not the one for them.
