Dear fucking God. For any of your "moderate" voters who voted for Bush, is this your idea of moderation? Yesterday the Washington Post report that the Department of Education was in a tizzy because a PBS series partially funded by DOE did a show about how kids in Vermont make cheese and maple syrup. This kids happen to have lesbian mothers. Because "some viewers" might be uncomfortable with the gay content, the Department of Education is looking to defund the program and PBS pulled the episode. Seriously folks, what the fuck? Should this be the action of some crazy ass representative from Oklahoma and not the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION????? They aren't having sex, they are MAKING CHEESE! CHEESE! Teaching children about the diversity of families out there (the show has featured Hmong, Muslim, Mormon, and evangelical Christian families)should be funded by the federal government. Paying of journalists to promote federal policies should not. If there isn't an action alert on this bullshit I will make it up myself.
