Moving on out
Not from this web journal of course but MY JOB! I haven't been updating much because of work and Thanksgiving but the big news is that today is my last day and I will be starting Monday at the Queer Education Group. I'll let you draw your own conclusions. I'm slightly afriad that all of the slacking and not caring I am doing at this job will spill over into the new one but I look at dharmaqueen's good example and feel ok. I am really excited. I have been itching to get back into working in the Queer community for a while now. I've also been dying to work in a chapter-based organization. The challenge with the job I am leaving (shitty boss aside), is that the community organizations are all funded by goverment agencies. It means they can't advocate for their community and don't get to plan according to what THEY need.
I just got over possibly the worst virus I have ever encountered in my life. I'm talking projectile vomiting every half an hour. Not pretty at all. I'm over it but it was nasty let me tell you.
So next time I write it will be from my new job.
