Back to more journaly stuff. rootbeer has gone and found herself a man. Or rather, the man and gone and found himself Rootbeer since he's been crushing on her. Good for you!
She talked about the fact he was smart (could quote baseball stats AND Shakespeare) and his apartment was nice. But I had a more important question - Does he make you crazy? By that I mean, how do you feel when you're NOT with him? Is he TALKING to you and not playing games? Do you have to divine his true motivations? Has he said he would call and hasn't and then left vague messages about getting together sometime. Have you had to justify his motivations (i.e. The reason why he isn't calling is because he doesn't know I like him.") Are you worried about showing him you like him? Are you worried aobut scaring him off? This whole constellation of questions boils down to - does he make you crazy. If the answer is yes, you are torturing yourself.
Trust me on this folks, that is the important question you ask when romance presents itself. Because relationships are hard and if the beginning is making you crazy, you will be crazy if by the off chance he gets his emotional act together and jumps into the relationship.
There's a reason why we have language. It's so we aren't sniffing each other's asses to figure the other person out.
