Dear God get me the fuck out of here,
I'm working on this project with unnamed evil refugee rescue group. They are so fucking evil and they are actively trying to screw us over. For example, they were two months late in signing their Memorandum of Understanding. Even though THEY were two months late, they expect us to do the same amount of work. This might have been fine if they made up for the lost time by being super duper prompt themselves. Nope. They expect us to complete the three site visits in a month, giving us two weeks of prep time. Like anyone can get anything out of that. Like I could ever do a good job that way. On top of that, they want me to go do the site visit on the very day I told them I could absolutely could not do.
What sucks is that I get no backup from my boss and the other organization. I need to leave. I hate being at an organization that sucks at the teat of the federal goverment. I hate that we have to kiss the ass of people who have no respect for your constituency.
Luckily I have two second interviews coming up, although after my last harrowing experience getting into the final rounds and not getting the jobs, I am not holding my breath. However, I am getting good vibes from Tomcat Alliance that rescues feral cats. They have a huge endowment and resources up the ying yang. Cross your fingers folks 'cause daddy needs a new job.
